Poultry Meal is a concentrated animal protein ingredient produced through the rendering of clean poultry tissues, including carcass, neck, feet, and undeveloped eggs, excluding feathers. The rendering process involves thermal cooking, fat separation, and milling to a homogenous powder, yielding a crude protein content typically between 60–65% with a well-digestible amino acid profile. It is widely used as a cost-effective and palatable protein source in commercial pet food manufacturing, poultry and swine compound feeds, and aquaculture starter diets.
